We are excited to announce two featured speakers for the 2026 ETVMA Annual Conference:

Saturday Featured Speaker

​

Dr. Jonathan Abbott, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology)
Professor of Veterinary Cardiology at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and past president of the ACVIM Specialty of Cardiology.

​

Dr. Abbott will present on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

​

• Cardiac Radiology - Brief Review

• Managing Cardiac Cases…When Echo Isn’t Available

Sunday Featured Speaker

Dr. William “Billy” Thomas, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Neurology)
Professor of Neurology & Neurosurgery and Small Animal Hospital Director at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Thomas will present on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., including a 15-minute break.

​

Sunday session topics will include:

• Mistakes to Avoid When Treating Seizures

• Mistakes to Avoid When Treating Spinal Cord Disease

• The Down Dog — Emergency Management of Paraplegia

• Head Tilt — How to Deal with Common Vestibular Diseases

Regular registration (after September 1, 2025) - $300

Sunday registration only - $90
Extra meal tickets - $20/ea

Continuing Education 

Annual Conference attendees are eligible for 12 CEUs. This conference is open to veterinary technicians and is eligible for 12 CE.

Terms & Conditions of Purchase

 

By registering for the ETVMA Veterinary Conference, attendees will gain access to all conference sessions and materials, along with specified meals covered by the meal ticket. It is important to note that the registration does not include hotel accommodations or other incidental expenses. Full payment is required at the time of registration, with accepted payment methods being credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to the conference will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee, while cancellations made within 30 days of the conference will not be refunded. Meal tickets are non-refundable. Registrations may be transferred to another individual up to 10 days before the conference with written notice to the ETVMA. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements, and ETVMA is not responsible for any personal loss, injury, or damage incurred during the conference.

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully, with ETVMA reserving the right to remove any attendee violating the code of conduct without a refund. Personal information provided during registration will be used solely for conference-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent. ETVMA reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with any changes communicated to registered attendees promptly.
