The East Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association is a group of professionals that meet with the intent to encourage further education in the field of veterinary medicine and foster fellowship between veterinary professionals. We have hosted an annual conference for continuing education for 33 consecutive years.
The ETVMA is facilitated by the Executive Board which is comprised of professionals from seven East Tennessee veterinary associations and one delegate from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, Small Animal Medicine department. The nine members of the Executive Board organize and host the conference each year.
In addition to hosting the conference, the ETVMA donates funds to the University of Tennessee Veterinary Teaching Hospital to help fund scholarships, the purchase of equipment and the awards banquet.
